Playing Wildcards on Silk Pyjamas UFC

Wildcards are the most important weapons at your disposal for a Silk Pyjamas Season and this example will show you why.

Wildcards - A Winning Strategy
The above chart displays the gap between 3 Winning Wildcard Picks and 3 Wasted Wildcards when 2 players have picked the same fighter.
In this example there are 2 players :
Player A and Player B. Player A & B both picked the same fighters (with exactly the same odds) to win in Rounds 1, 2 & 3. They made winning picks but Player A nailed every Wildcard!
Let's keep it simple. In each Round their chosen pick had odds at 100%. Even money, a Coin Flip.
However, Player A played their Wildcards successfully by matching the winning fighter and the correct MOV. Player B didn't!
Player B picked the winning fighter but wasted their Wildcards in each round. Let’s go through the Rounds, Wildcards and Results.

Round 1. The Fighter won by KO.
Player A played 1,000 points at 100% Odds & KO Wildcard.
Winning 1,000 Profit, 2x with the correct KO Wildcard. = 2,000 points of profit + 1,000 points staked.
New Balance = 3,000 points.
Player B also played 1,000 points at 100%. Winning 1,000 points of profit + 1,000 points staked.
Their Decision Wildcard was wasted (as the fighter won by KO).
New Balance = 2,000 points
Round 2. The Fighter won by Submission.
Player A played 3,000 points (ALL-IN, their entire balance) at 100% Odds & Submission Wildcard.
Winning 3,000 Profit, 2x with the correct Submission Wildcard. = 6,000 points of profit + 3,000 points staked.
New Balance = 9,000 points.
Player B played 2,000 points (ALL-IN, their entire balance) at 100%. Winning 2,000 points of profit + 2,000 points staked.
Their KO Wildcard was wasted (as the fighter won by Submission).
New Balance = 4,000 points
Round 3. The Fighter won by Decision.
Player A played 9,000 points (ALL-IN, their entire balance) at 100% Odds & Decision Wildcard.
Winning 9,000 Profit, 2x with the correct Decision Wildcard. = 18,000 points of profit + 9,000 points staked.
Final Balance = 27,000 points.
Player B played 4,000 points (ALL-IN, their entire balance) at 100%. Winning 4,000 points of profit + 4,000 points staked.
Their Submission Wildcard was wasted (as the fighter won by KO).
New Balance = 8,000 points
Both players used the same strategy by going ALL-IN every Round.
Both players picked the same fighters.
And although Player B made profit every Round and ended the season with a healthy 8,000 points! You can see the difference when being accurate with you Wildcard choices. In this example there is 19,000 point difference between the 2 players. Player A’s balance outgrew Player B’s exponentially!
